Transport company Alstom has won a €300 million contract to equip 2 RER lines in the Île-de-France region with NExTEO signalling technology.
Manufactured in Hauts-de-France, and certified ‘Made in France’, the new trains are set to modernise and improve services on France’s busiest lines.
With this order, the 360 Francilien train fleet will be the largest rail series in Île-de-France; improving the punctuality of the lines in Paris.
Passengers across Paris will benefit from modern trains with new features focused on increasing passenger comfort and safety.
