Birmingham City Council approve plans for new HS2 Ltd Curzon No.2 viaduct
HS2 has been granted Schedule 17 approval by Birmingham City Council for Washwood Heath Depot, the maintenance facility and main control centre for the whole HS2 network.
HS2 have been given planning permission for two viaducts which will take the railway into Curzon Street Station in Birmingham’s city centre.
HS2 Ltd begins a major restoration project to refurb one of the world’s longest surviving pieces of monumental railway architecture, the Grade One listed Old Curzon Street Station in Birmingham.
The re-development of Moseley Station moves the project to reopen the Birmingham Camp Hill railway line a step closure to completion.
