Following SWR's extension of its lease of the Class 458 fleet, Porterbrook has signed a new contract with Alstom to upgrade the trainsets.
The contract, which has a total value of around €760 million, will see Alstom deliver the Coradia Stream trains by December 2024 and maintain them for 30 years.
The interlocking system on TCDD's Eskisehir-Kutahya-Balikesir line was completed and put into service by Alstom on 5 February 2021.
