The planning, scheduling and risk reporting software will work to ensure the successful delivery of the Rail Baltica project.
The joint venture of Rail Baltica, RB Rail AS, has announced that it has begun to implement a planning, scheduling and risk reporting software in a bid to ensure efficient management of all Rail Baltica project activities and resources. The software will work to improve the existing project control practices and serve as a measure to speed up the implementation of the project.
RB Rail AS Management Board member, Mark Loader, said: “As we move from the development phase to the construction phase of the project, it is the right time to transition our existing control systems to a proven comprehensive software system to support our project management activities and ensure the successful delivery of this complex project.”
The comprehensive risk management system will accurately define and monitor the schedule and budget during the entire life-cycle of Rail Baltica project, as well as anticipate and proactively manage potential issues, changes and risks associated with the implementation of the project across all countries.
The implementation of a comprehensive risk management system was suggested by the audit institutions in the Baltic States in their joint audit recommendations for Rail Baltica. The system – driven by Oracle Primavera P6 and Oracle Primavera Cloud solutions – was procured in a competitive international tender.
