New Chief Commercial Officer at CFL cargo

In November, Marcel Theis replaced Marc Polini as Chief Commercial Officer of CFL cargo.

Marcel Theis joined CFL cargo in September 2009 as Head of Supply Chain Management, after more than 10 years of consulting work in the area of Supply Chain Management, working with clients from various industries. Before that, he was also active as Consultant & Trainer in the area of SAP.

As Chief Commercial Officer, Marcel Theis is leading the “Logistics / Planning“ and “Sales“ teams, as well as the supporting functions of “Contract Management“ and “Claims Management“. Marc Polini was appointed to the position of Chief Executive Officer of the subsidiary “Ateliers de Pétange SA”, after more than 10 years of working CFL cargo (and its predecessor EuroLuxCargo) as well as 12 years of production-related activity in various industrial sectors.

As the leader of the workshops in Pétange, his main goal is to further develop the wagon repair and maintenance activities of the Ateliers de Pétange by expanding its commercial efforts, in order to seize the existing potential in the wagon maintenance market.
