Andreas Schulz is the new Head of the Intermodal Market Unit at DB Schenker Rail Deutschland AG. The 42-year-old is thus assuming responsibility for the tasks previously performed by Karsten Sachsenröder, who held this position since the beginning of the year while at the same time serving as Member of the Board of Management Sales at DB Schenker Rail.
Andreas Schulz has held various executive positions at DB Schenker Rail and affiliated companies over the course of the past several years. He was most recently Head of Sales for Intermodal.
“Andreas Schulz is an experienced manager from our own company who has developed ideal expertise for this task through the various functions he has held in the Intermodal unit over the past several years,” said Karsten Sachsenröder.
Intermodal is the specialist for combined transport within the DB Schenker Rail Business Unit and connects other modes of transportation with environmentally friendly rail.
