Engineering consultancy, Ramboll, has announced the appointment of Vinny Patel as Market Director of Transport Interchanges.
Engineering consultancy, Ramboll, has announced the appointment of Vinny Patel as Market Director of Transport Interchanges.
Mr Patel joins the company from Laing O’Rourke, where he was Design & Development Leader for the rail sector, having previously held the position of Associate Director at Wilkinson Eyre for 15 years. His appointment marks a period of major expansion for Ramboll’s Transport division, which is set to grow over the coming year.

Having worked in the infrastructure, commercial property and cultural sectors over 20 years, Mr Patel brings experience in delivering some of the UK’s most challenging and important transport projects, including recently leading the design management for numerous Crossrail stations.
Throughout his career, Mr Patel has led on large infrastructure projects such as London Underground’s Bank station and the High Speed 2 terminus station at Birmingham Curzon Street.
Furthermore, he has extensive design management experience, managing the design of the Northern Line extension, which is considered the centrepiece of the largest redevelopment in central London for over 30 years.
