Cheaper entry to Blenheim Palace for bus and rail passengers

Great Western Railway, Stagecoach and The Oxford Bus Company have teamed up with Blenheim Palace to offer travel and reduced cost entry to the World Heritage site in a single transaction from Friday 10 March.

Bus, rail and entry in one, cheaper, transaction

Ticket holders will be able to travel by train to Oxford station and use either the 500 or S3 bus service to Blenheim Palace on the same ticket, while also saving a fifth on the price of travel and entry to Blenheim Park and Gardens. While those wishing to travel from Oxford itself can buy a bus ticket and entry to the palace from GWR ticket offices for £21.95 per person, saving £7.75.

Those travelling from further afield can purchase the rail element, connecting bus service and entry to Sir Winston Churchill’s former home in one transaction.

Buses will be available every 30 minutes from Oxford railway station and the journey will take around 40 minutes. The railway ticket (off peak day return) maintains the terms and conditions to that of an off peak product and is available for GWR ticket offices.
