Railways on the move is the main theme for Frequentis at InnoTrans 2016 taking place between 20-23 September. The company will present its solutions that address the needs of railways undergoing major transformation. Frequentis has the largest market share in GSM-R dispatcher terminal positions deployed and is ready to support railway communication systems regardless of the underlying technology (e.g. LTE, GSM, TETRA). With solutions supporting bearer independent communication through utilising different radio technologies, the company is further leading the way toward safer connected trains. The scope of applications and cost savings can be experienced at InnoTrans.
Improved user experience is the key topic to be presented by Frequentis at InnoTrans. The company will announce its new Operations Communication Manager at the exhibition – an innovative, web-based smart client application for rail controllers that can be used on any device for operations communication. The Mobile Observer App, which keeps operational staff up to date at all times – thus minimising the lead time for incident recognition – will also be revealed at the show. Reliability and redundancy lie at the core of all Frequentis solutions in the area of public transport. Integration of train position data, voice recording, incident management and messaging on one single platform increases efficiency and reduces operational costs. With the Future Railway Mobile Communications System (FRMCS) in focus, Frequentis end-to-end rail services will be integrated in LTE and IP Multimedia Subsystem environment.
