François Gauthey has been appointed Deputy Chief Executive Officer at Groupe Eurotunnel SE. Mr Gauthey took up his new role on 02 May 2016.

François Gauthey joined Groupe Eurotunnel in September 2015
The group’s former Chief Operating Officer in charge of Corporate Services, François Gauthey, has been promoted to Deputy Chief Executive Officer. Mr Gauthey joined Groupe Eurotunnel in September 2015 after an eight-year period at SANEF Group as a Senior Director. Prior to this role, he was an advisor to ex French Prime Minister, Jean-Pierre Raffarin, with responsibility for Infrastructure, Transport and Housing and then Chief of Staff in the Ministry for Transport and the Sea. He spent eight years working at Aéroports de Paris and then managed the Voies Navigables de France (French waterways) before joining SANEF.
There have also been reports that François Gauthey may take over from current CEO, Jacques Gounon when he retires in two years
