KEOLIS Germany has enhanced its sales system with a modern ticketing solution from Scheidt & Bachmann. The delivery includes a central back-end system managing all transactions, on-board and stationary ticket vending machines, and mobile terminals. The new system comes into operation within the KEOLIS Germany network during December 2013.
The modern ticket vending machines accept all popular payment methods including coins, bank notes and cashless payments. With an easy to use touch-screen display, the machines offer simple and convenient ticket purchases – on board as well as at a station. Accessibility for all is assured because the machines conform to TSI PRM standards.
