RATP President and CEO, Pierre Mongin, is attending InnoTrans in his role as president of Fer de France on 25 September.
Mr. Mongin will attend the event to support the French presence at InnoTrans and support a sector in which France leads the world in many areas, despite strong competition in Europe and beyond.
Encouraging the sector means enhancing cooperation and solidarity across the industry, as France’s leading champions in rail-related sectors should shoulder the responsibility of helping small businesses and innovative start-ups in their wake.
This is the first time that Fer de France has exhibited at InnoTrans and it has teamed up with Ubifrance to organise the French pavilion.
In March 2014, the two parties announced a new partnership to meet companies’ international needs, which include:
- Organising French pavilions at international trade fairs and sector conventions abroad as B2B meetings (market introductions, meetings with buyers and seminars, etc.) to enable French rail companies to exhibit their offering and know-how to public and private decision-makers in the sectors concerned
- Creation of a showcase site for the French rail offering for export markets
The new www.french-rail-industry.com website presents the products and services of France’s dynamic and innovative rail industry to international customers with presentations from each company, examples of completed projects and forthcoming trade fairs appearances.
- Continuing to support French industry, operators and engineering firms enhance the sector’s export performance
- Provide greater visibility of planning schedules – the cornerstone of jobs and skills in the sector.
